Salt and Pepper - Technologieberatung mit der besonderen Würze

Precious Values

Two achievements in the history of civilization impact and refine our daily life: technology and the art of cooking. These developments are both a challenge and a commitment for SALT AND PEPPER at the same time.
‘Committed to technological progress', the mission statement of the company, is implemented by using high-tech creatively - developing, applying, and enjoying individualized solutions! Good, if something tastes fine, but by no means a reason not to enhance the taste
The synthesis of technological progress and cuisine requires a quartet of "precious" company values:

"Passion is an absolutely vital ingredient," emphasizes Sven Scholz. "Only those who are completely committed are persuasive," says the Chairman of the Executive Board. "We want to give our employees room to develop passion. The most delicious dishes are created in a kitchen with a stimulating atmosphere, such as exquisitely prepared sea bass served over buckwheat noodles with prawns and rice brittle. The next step is proactive: How can I refine the dish even more? Perhaps using a carving knife? Function is one part, passion the other. Technology, especially in the kitchen, always has to do with passion."

Marko Schluroff compares Professionalism to cream of broccoli soup in the right "garment", that is, served in a noble soup tureen. "If the customer wants something traditional like a bockwurst, then it can be eaten hand", says the Chief Operating Officer. "It needs to go well together, whereby a bockwurst can also taste good with exotic chutney. Something traditional prepared in a classy manner can teach a four-star chef to aim for the fifth star. In doing so, he's also allowed to make mistakes. Professionalism understood correctly, therefore allowing for mistakes, cultivates the crème de la crème of the top chefs.

"Creativity beats sheer activity by far," says Florian Kirstein, speaking from dining and cooking experience. "While eating, it can be tasted, and while cooking, it can be felt," says the Chief Operating Officer. "The certain something that always appears when you break loose from rigid rules. We take the liberty of designing menu suggestions for customer projects in a flexible manner. Without this courage, I would have never learned all of the possible ways of preparing pasta."

"Respect towards other chefs is a basic requirement for all SALT AND PEPPER dishes," says Gisbert Dörner, Chief Financial Officer. "Human beings count, fairness towards others, and social commitment - all of these things generate sustainability." He also sees respect in treating ingredients with care: "Ecologically friendly fruit and vegetables from carefully chosen producers are the result of equally environmentally-friendly production. This is how conscious responsibility is seen at SALT AND PEPPER."
