CAR symposium 2009: Professor Dr. Ferdinand Dudenhöffer says thanks to SALT AND PEPPER managing director Andre Wilmshöfer for co-operation
The first "Career day" of the 9th international CAR symposium was a full success on 27th./28th. January this year in Bochum. Round about 80 executive automotive companies participated in this event and were evry enthusiastic about the given interest of all applicants.
The CAR - Center Automotive Research organized this fair under the direction of Professor Dr. Ferdinand Dudenhöffer.
In various workshops car manufacturers, suppliers and Engineering and IT-service providers introduced themselves to approximately 1500 visitors. In addition they answered questions concerning applicants entrance possibilities, prospects of placements, bachelor and master thesis and also many further topics.
On invitation of Professor Dr. Ferdinand Dudenhöffer and his outstanding organizational team Jan Wortberg, Stefan Reinsdorf and Daniel Przygoda SALT AND PEPPER West managing director and automotive expert, Dipl.Ing. André Wilmshöfer, used a fair portion of flavouring being the moderator introducing all companies (like e.g. Toyota, Behr Hella thermal control, Adam OPEL GmbH, Rücker, IBM).
„Thanks to the great organization the applicants interest in the fair and the presentations was remarkable" said André Wilmshöfer at the end of the day.
For coming years we have planned to expand the co-operation between CAR and SALT AND PEPPER.
Altogether the speakers of the automotive industry appeared optimistic despite of the world-wide economic crisis and still feel confident about the automotive industry. It will remain being a job engine on a long term basis in Germany. And there will still be outstanding job perspectives. The world-wide growth of the automotive industry will continue rapidly after the year 2010 and the demand of highly-qualified people in R&D and Engineering departments will exceed the supply again.
André Wilmshöfer reported that in all 5 SALT AND PEPPER locations are further employing engineers of automotive engineering despite the current difficult situation in this sector.
