SALT AND PEPPER as exhibitor at the CAR Symposium 2010: Trends and challenges of the automotive industry
The current situation in the automobile industry is further strained due to the foreseeable collapse in sales after end of the scrapping premium program. According to expert Professor Dudenhöffer, the industry has to reduce over-capacities, which would be exactly where one does not need them. Dudenhöffer forecasts a dismantling of production capacities for up to two million vehicles.
Nevertheless, industry insiders such as Daimler's Chief Scientific Officer Thomas Weber or Porsche-Chairman Michael Macht look ahead optimistically. In the German market a clear collapse in sales can be expected, the world-wide sales rate however rises according to Dudenhöffer around 4,1%, which is beneficial to the German automotive industry.
That's why vehicle manufacturer
s such as Daimler and Porsche or technology consultancies such as SALT AND PEPPER further invest strongly in new developments and innovations.
On the first congress day, the career day „Car Connects", SALT AND PEPPER took the opportunity to introduce the company to approximately 1,500 automotive-interested applicants. Within a presentation students and experienced professionals were informed about entrance possibilities.
In addition, SALT AND PEPPER West Managing Director, André Wilmshöfer, supported the organization team by his moderation during different company presentations at the congress.
On the second congress day in Bochum, there were nearly 1,000 automotive specialists. The goal of the professional attendees and exhibitors such as SALT AND PEPPER was to maintain and/or develop the industry network. Besides, visitors wanted to exchange and gain knowledge about technical trends.
All in all, the CAR symposium was again a successful exhibition for SALT AND PEPPER and André Wilmshöfer thanks the organization team under the direction of Mr. Jan Wortberg.
