Culinarily overshot of the first financial year - management gives a positive summary for 2008
Mr. Scholz, what is your résumé for the year 2008?
„We closed the financial year of 2008 very successfully. With an extra portion of salt and pepper we constantly won over new customers and employees. Within shortest time we built up five subsidiaries and a highly qualified team of 85 employees. So we are very pleased and at the same time proud of what we have achieved this year. "
To what extent does the financial crisis affect your business?
„Of course we do feel the economic depression to some extend. Fortunately we operate not only in one industry, but very diversified. And in addition, our „technology-consultants" predominantly implement projects in planning, research and development departments. Companies won't survive in a globalised competing world like todays without constant innovation and further development in these fields. Therefore we know there will always be a market for us in the future."
Thus, there will be no serious changes in your business due to the current economic situation?
„That's correct. Nevertheless we will keep these piercing incidents in the back of our heads in order to be able to react quickly if there are any environmental changes. Despite the current depressing atmosphere we are very pleased about continuously receiving project enquiries from our customers. Hence we will continue building-up and developing our locations in 2009 knowing we will be at least as successful as we were last year. Technology-consulting and engineering with the extra bit of flavour will always be in great demand, even in hard times."
