OPEN-AIR Summer Special in Cologne
Summer, sunshine, sunny mood...
That's how you could describe our mood, when we started our "Open Air Summer Special" on the 29th of July on the grassland of the Poller Damm in Cologne.
Frank Bröcker's Gourmet-BBQ-snack-bar lived up to his name since he swiftly prepared tasty sausages for us.
After this culinary delight there were numerous sporty activities on the large meadow beside the BBQ place - With table tennis, badminton and speedminton we all worked very hard. We could also prove a steady hand when using bow and arrow. Wolfgang Fischer, one of the colleages who is an experienced hobby shooter, supported all other colleagues to hit the target. And last but not least Haifa Pahlke, our branch leader, showed our men what woman power meant by playing volleyball. Being the only woman in the match she represented us girls successfully and quick-witted.
Altogether „the OPEN AIR Summer Special" was an amazing evening, which ended with a get-together of all colleagues. This was another SALT AND PEPPER event, which will stay in memory for a long time.
